Pick Color

In the basic configuration the Data CD IV offers unprecedented performance value. Not only does it come with all the digital outputs you could want, but plays CDs and DVDs with high-resolution audio files up to 384 kHz and 32 bits. It requires a 12 V power supply shown below.

The Data CD IV is available from stock in two colors:

Matte White Color
Satin Black Color

Pick Power Supply

Each DAC must be attached to a 12 Volt Power Supply. There are three supplies offered.

The Digital Upgrade to the MSB Platinum Power Base is the reccomended approach. Here, a digital supply module is added to the MSB Power Base used for the DAC IV. Now the Power Base can operate both the DAC and Transport.

Another option when the transport will be physically separated from the DAC is the MSB Platinum Digital Power Base. This base looks just the same as the DAC IV power base but only operates the Data CD IV.

A final option where rack space is limited is an outboard desktop supply.

None - I already have the digital option on my DAC IV.
Digital Upgrade to the Platinum Power Base (Add $595.) Power Base must be returned.
Outboard Desktop Supply (Add $595.)
Platinum Digital Power Base(Add $1795.)

Pick Upsampling

This upgrade offers several advancements: It upsamples 44.1, 88.2 and 176.4 to 352.8 kHz at a resolution of 32 bits, and it upsamples 48, 96 and 192 to 384 kHz at a resolution of 32 bits. The output frequency can be selected to be either 192 kHz (and 176.4) or 384 kHz (and 352.8).

What is right for you? We would skip this option if you only plan to use an MSB DAC IV. If you have other plans, we strongly reccomend it.

None
Include 384 Upsampler (Add $995)
